However, it does get a little hot so be careful. This is great adapter, i've had this for a couple of months now and only a few hiccups, I blame the squirals. Other then that there is not to little lag and its nice slick and then.
I've never had a single problem at all.I've also recently found out I can use it on my Series 2 Tivo.So great buy. I got lucky and found a good deal on this about a year ago.I was a little nervous about it because I had seen a couple bad reviews and it was the non microsoft adpater. Hover it was easy to setup and works perfectly.
AVOID AVOID AVOID The fact that we got it used from the seller means they no doubt had problems with it too. After a week of DAILY (hours and hours each day) torment, trying to keep this thing networked, we finally gave up. What a piece of crap.
I have been extremely satisfied with this product. It sets up just like a wireless router, so it only takes a few minutes to get running. This shipped extremely quickly and was very easy to plugin. Its slightly bigger than the official xbox 360 adapter, but uses the ethernet jack instead of a usb port, which is useful if you have other accessories that need to be plugged into those.
i purchased many gaming adapters and they all perform about the same, but the major difference is the only adapters that use b/g/N transmission is the xbox version and the linksys version,if you have a really fast internet connection you wont notice a difference, unless you place the adapter far from your router,or play online games with the maximum of players in a match. The linksys version is 89 to 100 dollars new.this is great product if you want acceptable performance at a budget price.the microsoft version performs equal to this model but it uses b/g/N.
